Crow

Crows are a particularly beautiful bird, but their black on black feathers are difficult to photograph. While on a walk recently I caught a crow in great evening light which gave some definition and separation to the feathers. It had been digging around in the dirt and hopped up onto the perch while I was watching it, setting up this great background with the dry cat-tails beyond.
